Responsibilities:

Explore large and complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and valuable insights;
Preprocess data, create features, and evaluate models like a pro;
Build, deploy, and fine-tune machine learning models (regression, classification, NLP, time series — maybe even a bit of generative AI magic);
Collaborate with cross functional teams to turn your models into real business solutions;
Document and clearly communicate model results and performance in an accessible way;
Experiment with generative AI techniques and explore new ways to innovate.

Skills and qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field;
Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical methodologies (if you’re still learning, that’s perfectly fine!);
Hands-on experience with Python (bonus points for Git, Docker, or CI/CD);
Experience with generative AI (e.g., LLMs, diffusion models, etc.);
Familiarity with BI tools like Power BI or Tableau;
Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch;
Knowledge of database management systems like MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL;
Data visualization skills using Matplotlib or Seaborn;
Familiarity with data libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn;
An understanding of the banking and financial services sector (e.g., fraud detection, customer segmentation, credit scoring, etc.) might be considered as an advantage.
